Riding a motorbike has always stirred something deep in me—a craving for freedom, a desire to break away from the ordinary. But it wasn’t until the end of 2018 that I finally got my license and made a decision that would change how I travel—and how I see the world.

For years, I felt boxed in by the daily grind of a 9-to-5 teaching job. It paid the bills, sure, but my spirit longed for more. One day, that inner voice grew too loud to ignore: "There has to be more to life than this." That was the turning point.

I wouldn't call myself a seasoned rider—at least not back then. I rode when I could, squeezing in short escapes between work commitments. But everything changed in the summer of 2023. I walked away from the classroom for good, said farewell to the safe path, and finally embraced the life I had only dreamed of: one of adventure, open roads, and endless horizons.

 

People often say, “You only live once.” And they’re right. There are no replays. That truth hit me hard, and inspired me to stop following the crowd. I chose to carve my own route, to ride roads less travelled, and to leave a trail worth remembering.
